Out-of-Pocket payment

Not all patients have private health insurance, or Medicare, or Medicaid.  Many folks pay “out-of-pocket” for their visits;  this is welcomed at Gentle Care Health Center.

At the end of   your visit with Ellen, she will categorize the visit based on complexity of illness and time spent, and assign the appropriate fee.  It is appreciated when the visit fee is paid in full that same day;  this saves Ellen’s billing service the expense of filing and mailing claims, and thus a discount is applied at the time of payment.  If you are not able to pay in full for your services that day, you may pay a portion that day (most folks pay at least $50) and be billed for the remainder.  Highest quality health care is deserved by all people, including those with a tight budget;  payment plans are certainly negotiable.  When paying for your visit to Gentle Care, please bring a check or cash, as we do not have a credit card machine in the office.  Thank you.
